Area Manager – Retail

Experience

Required:

Minimum 4 years as an Area Manager (Retail Background mandatory).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager – Retail to oversee and manage multiple retail stores within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will drive sales performance, ensure operational excellence, manage store teams, and maintain brand standards across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple retail stores within the assigned area
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals
  • Monitor store performance and implement action plans for improvement
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams
  • Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews
  • Analyze sales reports, inventory levels, and shrinkage
  • Coordinate with merchandising, marketing, HR, and logistics teams
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and operational issues
  • Support new store openings and staff training initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience as an Area Manager in Retail
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and visual merchandising
  • Excellent leadership harina and people management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail POS systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
