A prestigious luxury watchmaking maison is seeking an exceptional Regional Training Manager to elevate product mastery, frontline capability and client experience across a multi‑market retail network.

The Role

As Regional Training Manager, you will design, deliver and embed world‑class training programmes that strengthen product knowledge, selling confidence and service excellence across boutiques and retail partners. You will act as both educator and field coach, working closely with retail leaders to ensure teams embody the craftsmanship, heritage and technical mastery that define high watchmaking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging in‑person and virtual training covering product knowledge, client experience and service excellence across the region.
  • Act as a field coach, observing sales interactions and providing clear, constructive feedback to elevate storytelling, technical explanation and client engagement.
  • Support all product launches with accurate, compelling and technically robust training content.
  • Introduce and embed high‑horology selling techniques aligned with luxury and high‑net‑worth clientele expectations.
  • Identify, develop and mentor product ambassadors within retail teams who demonstrate strong technical expertise and influence.
  • Adapt and localise global learning frameworks while maintaining absolute technical accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with central training, product and marketing teams on the creation and rollout of new learning modules.
  • Design structured action plans to address capability gaps, improve performance and enhance the client journey.
  • Contribute to digital learning tools and ongoing knowledge‑sharing platforms.
  • Lead service‑quality initiatives, including mystery shopping programmes and qualitative service reviews.
  • Conduct regular boutique visits to assess training impact, retail readiness and product knowledge depth.
  • Partner with retail leadership to drive continuous improvement in client experience.
  • Support product‑ and service‑related training for special events, activations and high‑value client appointments.
  • Prepare regional training reports, skill‑gap analysis and performance insights for leadership.
  • Monitor market behaviour, competitor activity and fine watchmaking trends to ensure training remains relevant and forward‑looking.
  • Maintain accurate records of retail staff, certifications, training attendance and development plans.
  • Share best practices and training innovations across markets.
  • Manage the regional training calendar, logistics, learning records and training budget.
  • Coordinate with external specialists or agencies for advanced technical or soft‑skills programmes.
  • Support leadership with ad‑hoc initiatives related to product education, retail capability building and internal events.
Essential Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in training, learning and development or retail capability within luxury watchmaking or high‑end jewellery.
  • Strong technical understanding of watchmaking fundamentals, complications, materials and craftsmanship.
  • Experience working with both boutique teams and corporate stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Strong coaching capability and confidence engaging with sales advisors, store managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of luxury retail standards and high‑net‑worth client expectations.
