A Gift Shop Agent provides retail services for guests, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience that contributes to overall guest satisfaction.

• Welcoming and assisting guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensuring an efficient retail shop experience for guests, including suggestion and assistance as required
• Maintaining an enjoyable shopping experience so that guests return
• Supporting return business that generates further revenue
• Attending appropriate training courses and assisting the Front Office team when needed
• Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards
• Keeping the shop areas clean and well organized
• Accurately describing product features and benefits
• Maintaining a fully stocked store
• Providing cross‑departmental assistance as necessary

• Previous experience in a customer‑focused industry
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi‑task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with guests
• Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent level of IT proficiency

It would be advantageous to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a retail shop within hospitality
• Front Office/Concierge experience in the hotel, leisure, or entertainment sectors
• Conflict resolution experience
