A Gift Shop Agent provides retail services for guests, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience that contributes to overall guest satisfaction.
What will I be doing?- Welcoming and assisting guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensuring an efficient retail shop experience for guests, including suggestion and assistance as required
- Maintaining an enjoyable shopping experience so that guests return
- Supporting return business that generates further revenue
- Attending appropriate training courses and assisting the Front Office team when needed
- Maintaining outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards
- Keeping the shop areas clean and well organized
- Accurately describing product features and benefits
- Maintaining a fully stocked store
- Providing cross‑departmental assistance as necessary
- Previous experience in a customer‑focused industry
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to multi‑task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with guests
- Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent level of IT proficiency
It would be advantageous to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a retail shop within hospitality
- Front Office/Concierge experience in the hotel, leisure, or entertainment sectors
- Conflict resolution experience
