Responsibilities- Address guests service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
- Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest s name when possible.
- Anticipate guests service needs by asking questions to understand their preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
- Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property-specific processes to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
- Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
- Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
- General Food and Beverage Services: maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas, clear and return items to proper areas, and practice clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards, including linens, glassware, chinaware, and silver/flatware; ensure supplies meet quality standards.
- Pick up trays and clear tables to maintain a clean dining area.
- Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol and adhere to local guidance.
- Thank every guest on departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- Coordinate with the relevant kitchens to ensure guests’ orders are delivered.
- Beverage/Coffee Cart: inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
- Cash/Bank Handling: record transactions in MICROS or a similar system at the time of order; process all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures; follow property cash handling standards; count bank at end of shift and reconcile discrepancies; secure bank at all times; transport bank following security procedures.
- Education:
Higher education, diploma, or equivalent. - Related

At least 1 year of related work experience. - Supervisory
