About the role

As Head Waiter at Brasserie Frantzén by Björn Frantzén you will provide hands-on support and assistance to colleagues to ensure that the highest levels of fine dining service and courtesy are provided to our guests. The Head Waiter will greet all guests as they are being seated, creating a professional and friendly rapport to ensure a positive first impression and exceptional standard of service.

You will be familiar with the complete food and beverage menu, knowledgeable on all promotional activities, and provides specialist advice to guests and colleagues on menu items when required. In addition to the above a priority of this role will be to closely monitor the consistency of food and beverage items that are being served to ensure overall service quality, escalating any major problems or complaints to management.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests as they are seated and provide a professional, friendly introduction to the dining experience.
  • Deliver high levels of fine dining service and courtesy to guests.
  • Familiarize yourself with the complete menu and all promotional activities; provide specialist advice to guests and colleagues as required.
  • Monitor the consistency and quality of food and beverage items being served; escalate major problems or complaints to management as needed.
About you / Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar, high-volume restaurant role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact confidently with a diverse clientele.
  • Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow and develop within a dynamic city and diverse culture.
