• Ensure colleagues are working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
• Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP’s.
• Monitor duty roster for the team.
• Work towards the timely set up of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, according to the meal settings and in line with the opening hours.
• Deep knowledge of the outlets’ menu, promotional activities and other relevant issues concerning the outlet.
• Ensure that an effective link is maintained between kitchen and service areas.
• Consistently monitor Food and Beverages being served and service quality, escalating any major problems/complaints to Management.
• Upsell food and beverages to maximize revenues.
• In the absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager or Manager take responsibility of all operational issues.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
• International experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Committed to and passionate about the food and beverage industry.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
