Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you support the beverage and sweet food application lab, contributing to flavor creation and finished application development. You also take ownership of coordinating customer projects, ensuring all work aligns with deadlines, safety requirements, and organizational goals.

• Support the laboratory by developing flavor and finished product applications, and coordinate customer projects to meet deadlines, safety standards, and organizational objectives.

• Full understanding of ADM Nutrition product and service portfolio.
• Responsible for the production and adaptation of taste samples, including modifications of ADM products based on requirements, followed by release for customer sampling.
• Comfortable handling fine chemicals and consistently maintaining precise and disciplined working practices.
• Collaborate and communicate between departments across EMEA, including development headquarters in Germany, other application labs, and the commercial team.
• BS Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry or Pharmacy.
• Ideally first experience in product development and application of beverage and/or food.
• Basic knowledge of product processing and ingredient interaction.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English;
  Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid PC skills and affinity with IT tools (SAP and Salesforce).
• Enthusiasm to develop innovative solutions and trends in the beverage and food market.
