Role Overview: The QHSE Manager will lead and manage the AWE Quality Management System, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in ensuring that internal processes, procedures, and quality standards consistently deliver maximum value to both the business and its clients. The ideal candidate will establish, implement, and monitor robust quality, health, safety, and environmental practices. Beyond Quality Assurance, the role also involves hands-on Quality Control of incoming materials, in-process components, and final outgoing products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the company s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards.
- Continuously improve business processes to boost efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and monitor procedures to ensure consistent quality output across all operations.
- Oversee and support QC activities on incoming components, in-process manufacturing, and finished goods.
- Manage supplier quality, including audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with End User and EPC certification, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Lead internal and external quality audits and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a QHSE team of 3 or more team members.
- Promote and implement Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and optimize processes.
- Bachelor s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Formal training and experience in Quality Systems, Quality Audits, QA/QC, and Supplier Quality.
- 5+ years of progressive Quality Management experience within manufacturing or industrial machinery.
- Strong understanding of End User / EPC requirements, certifications, and documentation standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 3+ professionals.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a clear, structured thinking style.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups.
