Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary

We are currently looking to hire a talented QC Engineer for one of our clients based in UAE. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, identifying defects or deviations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain consistent product quality.

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products.
• Conduct quality tests using appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs, and inspection checklists.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Analyze data to identify defects, trends, and root causes of quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and maintain QC reports, test results, and documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, regulatory audits).
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and company quality policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 6σ, Lean, Kaizen, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or relevant field).
• 1–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or industry-specific standards.
• Familiarity with QC tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc. (or software testing tools if software QC).
• Understanding of SPC, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Certification: CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ISO Auditor, etc.
• Experience with ERP/MES/QMS systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
