. In this position, you will take on key responsibilities that include:

The Junior Biologist will support Biologists with daily husbandry tasks including care, feeding, cleaning, exhibit maintenance. They will keep accurate records in a daily report and communicate ideas and notes to the Curator. Will always follow SOPs guidelines. Will maintain a healthy work environment for the animals and staff. They will promote good business practices and have excellent customer service, interacting with guests daily and answering questions about the animals and facilities.

• To display a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our guests and fellow team members to support Living Planet Vision, Core Values and Brand Promise.
• To represent & promote Green Planet & Dubai Holding Entertainment in a manner to maintain a professional brand image
• To ensure animal exhibits are always clean and presentable.
• To assist Biologists with medical treatment
• To assist Biologist with LSS monitoring and aquarium siphoning
• Assist with daily operations and staff rotation
• To assist with guest interactions and encounters with animals
• To assist Biologists with animal related projects and exhibit changes
• Must maintain accurate animal observation and husbandry records and submit in daily report
• Managing your area of responsibility in a friendly and courteous manner at all times
• Remaining approachable and friendly at all times.
• To constantly look to improve animal exhibits.
• To coordinate activities in relation to inventory, plant & animal care, feeding and delivery of animals.
• Self Development:
  Attend all required job training and a set number of personal development relevant to your job position and requirements
• Financial:
  Improve animal welfare scores for those assessed.
• Innovation:
  Identify and propose initiates that can potentially be put into place to increase occupancy, revenue, or customers value for money or reduce expense
• Customer:
  To increase final Trip Advisor and Google Review score from previous year
• Animal Care:
  To implement initiatives that increase animal welfare, training, or exhibit design for the betterment of our animal collection

High School Diploma

2+ years of relevant experience

• To represent & promote Green Planet & DH Entertainment in a manner to maintain a professional brand image.
• Ensure highest level of guest service with regard to Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency.
• Work within the day-to-day operation of the Curatorial and Maintenance/LSS department.
• Follow all operational standards and procedures for the Curatorial and Maintenance/LSS department.
• Prepare curatorial reports as required.
• Achieve business goals and objectives for the Curatorial and Maintenance/LSS department.
• To display a friendly, helpful and cheerful attitude.
• To listen actively to our guest feedback, requests and concerns in order to take action in an ethical, effective and timely manner to exceed their expectations.
• To show flexibility and willingness to learn.
