We are seeking a compassionate and skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an integral part of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), you will provide essential nursing care to newborns in critical conditions. Your expertise will help to improve the health outcomes of infants who require specialized attention and treatments. In this role, you will closely monitor the vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and implement care plans for premature and sick newborns.

- Monitor the vital signs and overall condition of newborn patients in the NICU.
- Administer medication and treatments according to neonatal care protocols and schedules.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Implement and adjust individualized care plans for neonates with varying health conditions.
- Utilize advanced equipment to provide optimal care and monitoring for preterm infants.
- Educate and support families regarding neonatal care and treatment procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for assessments and progress updates.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with NICU best practices.
- Ensure a sterile and safe environment to prevent infection and promote healing.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
- Facilitate communication between families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Advocate for the newborn's health and welfare, adhering to ethical and hospital standards.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of employment.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- At least two years of experience working in neonatal or pediatric care settings.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or willingness to obtain.
- Strong understanding of NICU equipment, technology, and neonatal health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient families effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following medical ethics guidelines.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
