Position: Performance / Project Marketing Manager

The Marketing Project Manager serves as the central coordination hub between Marketing (Brand, Content, Communications), Performance Marketing, and the Tech teams (Development, IT, Data) as well as external agencies. The purpose of this role is to ensure that marketing and performance projects are delivered on schedule, in a structured manner, and without avoidable delays
, and that all stakeholders have clear responsibilities, deadlines, and priorities.

Important Note

This role does not technically execute campaigns itself
, but ensures that the right people deliver, decide, and approve in a timely manner.

2. Key Objectives of the Role
  • 80% of marketing and performance projects launch on the planned go-live date
    .
  • Standardised briefing, approval, and alignment processes between Marketing, Performance, Tech, and agencies are defined and actively followed.
  • Access, assets, and approvals are available within agreed timelines (e.g. material delivery, ad shoots, account access).
3. Core Responsibilities 3.1 Project & Campaign Management
  • Planning and managing marketing and performance projects from kick-off to go-live.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Continuously tracking deadlines, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Early identification of risks/delays and escalation to the COO or relevant stakeholders.
  • Regular status reporting for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
3.2 Interface & Communication
  • Central point of contact between Marketing, Performance, Tech, and external agencies.
  • Preparing and facilitating project kick-offs, status meetings, and alignment sessions.
  • Ensuring all stakeholders know:
    What needs to be done?
    By when?
    By whom?
  • Documentation of decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines.
3.3 Agency Enablement & Material / Access Management
  • Ensuring agencies receive all necessary information, access, and assets in a timely manner (e.g. ad material, shoot dates, access to ad accounts, CRM, tracking).
  • Reducing turnaround time between:
    • Request for ad material and actual shoot / delivery of assets
    • Request for access and full provisioning
  • Continuously removing internal blockers that delay campaign launches or optimization.
3.4 Process Optimisation & Tools
  • Introduction and maintenance of a central project management tool (e.g. Asana or equivalent) for all marketing projects.
  • Standardization of briefing templates, approval processes, and status reports.
  • Identify bottlenecks in collaboration between DACH/UAE, Marketing/Tech, and internal/external stakeholders, and developing pragmatic solutions.
4. Professional Requirements
  • Completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or similar, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in project management in a marketing, digital, or agency environment.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams (Marketing, Tech, external partners).
  • Proven experience working with external agencies and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in at least one project management tool (e.g. Asana, Jira, Monday, or similar).
  • Experience with CRM and automation tools (e.g. Hub Spot, Zapier) is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong execution mindset: deadlines are taken seriously and proactively followed up on.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to drive outcomes without formal authority (“ownership mentality”).
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders (Creative, Performance, Tech, Management) around shared goals.
  • Resilience and a calm, solution-oriented approach even under time pressure.
6. Languages & Location
  • English: Fluent (C1/C2) – primary working language in an international context.
  • German: Fluent (min. C1) – required for DACH marketing activities.
  • Additional languages (e.g. Arabic) are an advantage.
  • Place of work: On-site at the UAE office.
