Overview
Responsible for managing internal and external communications and activations that support commercial objectives, build brand awareness, and promote the company’s culture of excellence through captivating storytelling. Supports Director | Associate Director - Communications and PR in managing day-to-day operations and collaborates closely with hotel teams to meet operational needs.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day external and internal communications activities to deliver key messages to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the Associate Director to set strategies and develop plans in partnership with external agencies.
- Assist the Associate Director of Marketing with the development of annual external communications plans focused on service, dining, and design, ensuring quality rollout.
- Review, edit and sign off content for internal and external channels to ensure consistency, brand guideline compliance, and maximum impact.
- Develop original stories and campaigns to build brand and colleague engagement with agency support and direct reports.
- Assist with internal communications programs, initiatives, and branded content (e.g., quarterly town halls, Spirit of Jumeirah activations).
- Plan and manage projects with clear scope, deliverables, milestones, and successful execution in line with property goals, in collaboration with the Associate Director.
- Build relationships with key business partners, media, and KOLs to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and e-commerce to ensure activity integration across channels; manage media relations and attendance at hotel events in the UAE.
- Oversee media FAM and influencer FAM logistics and creative design communications collateral (newsletters, presentations, reports, media collateral, video communications).
- Oversee administrative functions of the department (contract management, budget management, invoicing, ROI analysis, and document management).
- Liaise with external PR and social media agencies to ensure quality delivery and timely sharing of news across internal channels; manage social channel activations and calendars to stay on brand.
- Monitor and report on KPIs for social media campaigns; set KPIs and guide social media strategy.
- Support corporate risk mitigation by protecting the hotel/brand reputation in media and on social channels.
- Coaching and development of team members, including the Social Media Assistant Manager.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Communications and PR, preferably within international luxury hospitality.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Strong media contacts within top-tier luxury, lifestyle, fashion, and business press.
