What

You’ll Do

As the Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the marketing and communications function for BCG Middle East’s intellectual property, expertise, and insights for the Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Practice Area (PA). In this temporary role (12‑14 months), you will boost BCG’s reputation and strategically position the topics we want to be known for with priority audiences within the GCC market.

This is delivered through multichannel campaigns optimizing opportunities to meet the business objectives. You will drive integrated campaigns covering PR, digital, social media, events, and affiliation with a focus on external reputation, expert positioning, and client engagement.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to drive the discussion and marcomms agenda. You will work closely with the broader marcomms team who support you with expertise and relevance across priorities and channels.

You will also work closely with the Marcomms Director, Marcomms Manager, and the C&S Marketing Specialist to drive functional expertise and process, as well as implement new and innovative opportunities to further strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Drive BCG's reputation within the region both at an industry level as well as influencing priority clients. Build overarching integrated plans incorporating stakeholder needs and execute through content marketing programs and campaigns to deliver on objectives. Develop, launch, and sustain plans for new IP/thought leadership content including the development of publications, media materials, email, and social media assets, as well as define how to leverage events/conferences.

    Ensure stakeholder signoff and timely launch. Monitor and report back on the results and capture improvements needed to enhance future campaigns.
  • Stakeholder management: building strong relationships with internal clients to build trust and rapport and position yourself as a thought partner for the practice. Enhancing our relationships with leaders in the GCC business community and bringing BCG top of mind and position strategically. Primarily executed through the development and launch of local or localized global content development and seat‑at‑the‑table opportunities. With a deep understanding of our clients contribute to each Practice Area’s (PA) and/or Partner’s networking and marketing plans: including support of database management, event ideation and execution, as well as email marketing.
  • Global BCG initiatives:
    Aligning BCG ME with global Marketing initiatives and executing at a regional level, build strong connections with global marketing counterparts to ensure the Middle East stays at the forefront of plans.
  • Support PA affiliation via internal comms channels to inform, motivate, and engage employees by sharing information concerning external launches.
  • Own assessment and optimization of campaigns working closely with the marketing team, as well as sharing learnings with the immediate and broader BCG marketing team.
