Role Summary

As a Financial Communications Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of strategic communications, gaining hands‑on experience in crafting compelling narratives that shape financial reputations. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you’ll contribute to impactful content that bridges the gap between financial data and public understanding. Responsibilities
  • Produce clear, accurate, and engaging written content under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute positively to group efforts.
  • Communicate confidently with internal stakeholders and external audiences including clients, journalists, and analysts.
  • Stay informed on current events and trends that influence financial and economic narratives.
  • Utilize media monitoring and investor data platforms to support content development and analysis.
  • Anticipate and respond to team and client needs with professionalism and initiative.
  • Represent APCO with integrity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, international affairs, finance, or a related field.
  • Exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
  • A foundational understanding of business and a genuine interest in finance, economics, and the regional/global media landscape.
  • Willingness to learn how to interpret financial statements, analyze market trends, and translate complex financial data into accessible content.
  • Passion for financial storytelling and investor relations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
