The Beauty PR Manager is a central role within the PR team and reports directly to the Account Director of the Beauty Department. The PR Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the successful management of Faux’s clients spanning PR strategy development, client’s management, media, influencers and social media engagement, business partners and more.
The PR Manager is the direct report for members of the PR team, including other PR Managers, Executives and Coordinators, monitoring the quality of their work, providing structure and guidance, and encouraging their skill development to achieve strong results.
The role requires significant Beauty industry experience in a similar PR position within a PR agency, with a strong knowledge and connection in the GCC.
Showing a deep sense of autonomy, a high level of professionalism and a qualitative approach to Public Relations, the PR Manager can anticipate the team’s needs and equally important those of Faux’s clients.
Driving force in the team and proactive in terms of proposals, the PR Manager has an eye for details and is one step ahead of trends and hot topics. With a strong understanding of the beauty market trends, the candidate also works with a vision to support the development of Faux as an Agency, relating to new business opportunities as well as enhancing Faux’s reputation in the market.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee a dynamic team of professionals within the PR department
- Develop and execute innovative PR and communications strategies, with creative plans to grow brands awareness
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction with Faux’s PR services
- Create and maintain trusted relationships with key media and influencers, ensuring excellent qualitative and longevity of the relationships
- Drive the achievement and surpassing of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by external clients and internal performance standards
- Plan and organize client and agency events, managing an extended team comprising both internal staff and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution and desired outcomes
- Take charge of client budgets as needed, overseeing expenditures for paid commercial activities, events, or other initiatives requiring financial resources. Collaborate with the Faux Accounts Department to ensure optimal financial management
- Participate in meetings and discussions to formulate strategies for the continuous development and growth of Faux Consultancy
- Stay informed about public relations and media trends, offering recommendations for the implementation of responsive strategies.
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in public relations, communications or other relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of PR industry experience, specifically in the Beauty industry
- At least 1 year in a similar role or at least 3 years as a Senior PR Executive, specifically in the Beauty industry
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven success in a previous PR role, including the securing of high-value coverage and generation of market-leading ideas
- A strong regional network across the GCC with the leading media, influencers, stylists and celebrities is an essential requirement
- A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and communication strategies
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment where many projects are carried out in parallel
- High level of organization and experience in complex workflow management, with the ability to hit strict deadlines and KPIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging stories
- Ad-hoc regional and international travel may be required.
