Baker, Manufacturing ​/ Production

The Baker is responsible for preparing and making a variety of bread and other baked goods in a minimum of one area in the Bakery section. The role holder is also responsible for providing excellent customer service and executing tasks as per the section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures.

• Transform raw ingredients into finished and semi-finished bakery products, including bread and pastries, following production sheets and established SOPs.
• Prepare, arrange, and replenish bakery items in the display counter according to presentation and freshness standards.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring full compliance with food handling standards.
• Operate, clean, and sanitize bakery tools, ovens, mixers, and other equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness across all work areas, including freezers, chillers, and storage areas, ensuring proper disposal of food waste.
• Seek continuous improvement by pursuing professional development opportunities, supporting team members, and adhering to internal policies and procedures.

• Basic English reading, writing, and interpretation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent listening skills with high attention to detail.
