Technical Application Manager

This role sits at the intersection of food science, customer reality, and commercial impact

You’ll be the technical force behind the successful adoption of value-added food ingredients across the Middle East - working directly with industrial bakeries and food manufacturers to turn innovation into products that run, scale, and sell.

You’ll join a global food ingredients group with a long heritage in bakery and specialty applications, operating across multiple food categories including bakery, pastry, ice cream, plant-based and culinary solutions.

• Introduce and implement value-added ingredients at industrial customer sites
• Develop, adapt, and optimize recipes and formulations
  , primarily for industrial bakeries
• Support lab trials, pilot tests, and full-scale production runs
• Troubleshoot formulation and process challenges in real time
• Translate technical innovation into commercially viable applications
• Support sales meetings with strong technical credibility
• Deliver technical demos, workshops, and distributor trainings
• Act as a trusted technical partner to customer R&D, application, and production teams

• 5–8+ years in Technical Application, R&D, or NPD within the food industry
• Strong hands-on experience with functional / value-added ingredients
• Solid background in industrial bakery applications (highly preferred)
• Exposure to other categories (ice cream, beverages, savory, plant-based) is a plus
• Comfortable working customer-facing

• Strong communication skills — able to explain technical value clearly and confidently

Education: Food Science, Food Technology, Bakery or similar

Languages: Fluent English required;
Arabic is a strong advantage
