Responsibilities- Production schedule developing & planning
- Production target achievement with limited resources
- Smooth management of operational flow
- Effectively manage and allocate production line resources
- Ensure that the machines are safely operated, avoiding accidents to operators, damages to the machine & according to the machine's operations manual
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Ensure the approved quality standards of products
- Managing of corrective and preventive actions in production
- Managing of overall production cost including head count within given budget
- Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive work culture
- Ensure strict adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
- Ensure zero wastage in production process with optimum cost savings against the budget
- Identify & propose innovative developments in production for further upgrades & cost reduction
- Analyse & provide necessary production reports for higher management
- Minimize the production downtime & highlight to higher management
- Cross-functional collaboration with all supporting departments
- Minimum 7 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Food, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Bachelor's degree in food science / Operations Management
- Advanced HACCP certification
- Food Safety Management System Certification (FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000 Auditor)
- Basic Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt)
- Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications in operations management will be an added advantage
