We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician to join our team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and creating upholstered furniture and fittings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and finishing standards. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and precision in handling various fabrics, leather, foams, and other upholstery materials.

• Inspect, repair, and replace upholstery on chairs, sofas, headboards, panels, and other furniture.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabrics, leather, and other upholstery materials accurately.
• Rebuild and restore furniture frames, padding, springs, and cushioning where required.
• Operate tools and machinery used in upholstery work, such as sewing machines, staplers, and cutters.
• Ensure upholstery projects are completed on time while maintaining quality standards.
• Match colors, textures, and patterns to achieve desired design and finish.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the workshop area.
• Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and clients to understand specific upholstery needs.
• Keep detailed records of work done, materials used, and timelines followed.

• Diploma / ITI certification in Upholstery, Furniture Manufacturing, or related trade.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Upholstery Technician.
• Strong understanding of upholstery techniques, fabrics, leather, and materials.
• Knowledge of different furniture styles, frames, and repair methods.

• Proficiency in cutting, sewing, stitching, stapling, and padding.
• Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving and repair skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Good physical stamina to handle manual work.
• Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
