Production Head; Cabinetry - German Speaker

The client is looking for an experienced Production Head to lead the Cabinetry division of its furniture manufacturing facility. The role involves overseeing the production process, optimizing cost-efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards, and leading a team of skilled professionals to drive growth and success.

• Lead the production team and ensure the smooth operation of the entire Cabinetry division.
• Streamline production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize factory operations and resource utilization (materials, manpower, machinery).
• Monitor and minimize risks to the factory and its operations.
• Set comprehensive operations goals for performance and growth.
• Lead and motivate employees to maximize their performance and dedication to achieving operational goals.
• Collaborate with quality control managers to implement and maintain quality standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production team.

• Proven experience in managing a full-scale furniture manufacturing factory, preferably in cabinetry production.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Exceptional organizational and resource management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
• Passion for home furniture design and production.
• Proficiency in German is required.

• Successful experience as a plant head or manager in a furniture manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Production or Mechanical).
• Advanced degrees (M.Tech., MBA) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of production management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 10-12 years of professional experience in production management.

• Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams towards achieving production targets and maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to encourage cross-functional collaboration and share best practices across teams.
• Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and adhering to safety protocols.
