Post-Water Treatment Plant Operator
Experience required – 1 to 5 years' experience (STP and RO) will be considered. (
* If freshers are recruited, we will give training during plant erection and commissioning period)
- Involving day-to‑day operation and maintenance of STP‑DAF systems (Dissolved Air Flotation), M system (Membrane Bioreactor), RO and DM water systems and chemical dosing systems and able to come in shift. Conduct routine inspections of pumps, aeration systems, clarifiers, membranes, and related equipment.
- Diagnose operational issues and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and legal obligations. As a team of plant operators and technicians to ensure smooth plant performance.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operation of the plant. Prepare daily operation logs, technical reports, and documentation for audits and compliance. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement immediate corrective measures.
STP (Sewage Treatment Plant)/ ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and RO & DM plant experience in water treatment operations. Cleaning of Bar screen and strong understanding of biological treatment processes (aeration, clarifiers, sludge handling, digesters, dosing systems). Familiarity with blowers, diffusers, pumps, and dosing systems. Experience in troubleshooting treatment of machinery's inefficiencies, mechanical breakdowns, and process upsets.
General Water Treatment SkillsKnowledge of chemical dosing (Hypo dosing, citric dosing, DWPE dosing, urea and dap dosing, SMBS dosing, Anti scale dosing, Acid dosing, chlorination, pH adjustment). Familiarity with industrial piping (HDPE, UPVC, GI), valves, and flow control. Ability to interpret P&IDs, layout drawings, and O&M manuals. Strong troubleshooting of leaks, pressure drops, and flow inconsistencies. Ability to work independently and coming in shifts in industrial water environments.
