Associate Director Social Media - Digital Agency

The Role:This is not a traditional servicing role.
The Associate Director Social Media will act as a strategic partner to clients and an internal driver of excellence - leading complex mandates, mentoring teams, and ensuring commercial performance across a portfolio of high-value accounts.
The ideal candidate is Arabic-first, commercially astute, and deeply experienced in digital and social‑led communications within the UAE market.
Candidate Profile:- Minimum 6+ years of agency experience in the UAE / GCC
- Proven leadership across integrated digital and social campaigns
- Experience managing government and/or major retail accounts preferred
- Demonstrated exposure to account profitability and revenue growth
- Strong track record in pitch participation and account expansion
- Confident engaging with senior marketing leaders and executive stakeholders
- Highly structured, organized, and deadline‑oriented
- Entrepreneurial mindset with natural commercial instincts
- Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong copy oversight skills and attention to tone, nuance, and messaging
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
Strategic Account Ownership
- Lead and grow a portfolio of key accounts
- Build trusted relationships with decision‑makers and influencers
- Translate client business objectives into impactful digital strategies
- Drive revenue targets and ensure healthy account margins
- Identify upselling opportunities and organic growth avenues
- Contribute to new business strategy and pitch leadership
- Oversee account managers, executives, and community teams
- Work closely with creative, production, and strategy departments
- Ensure seamless delivery across content, platform strategy, reporting, and campaign execution
- Provide strong creative direction and strategic input
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging standards
- Ensure campaign performance aligns with KPIs and client expectations
- Maintain high standards of workflow management
- Ensure timelines, deliverables, and reporting are consistently met
