Technical Internal Audit Manager

Leading and performing independently / under supervision internal audit projects/ assignments (including operational, Financial, performance and compliance audits), as part of the annual risk-based internal audit plan approved by Management.

• Performing the risk assessment and support the Group director of Internal Audit in development of risk based internal audit plan.
• Developing the scope of internal audits focusing on governance, risk management and control processes with direct supervision from Group director of Internal Audit.
• Execute the plan and deploy data analytics techniques for audit testing purposes to achieve maximum efficiencies.
• Preparation of audit working papers in accordance with internal audit manual and professional standards, resolving all review comments of Group director or direct supervisor on a timely basis and archiving of internal audit files.
• Exercise sound judgement in identifying weaknesses in the organizations controls environment and a balanced view of how significant these are.
• Preparing reports demonstrating the results of audit work performed aligned with the reporting methodology and templates.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Audit systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Update and maintain outstanding actions database and liaise with process owners on implementation status.
• Conducting follow-up with management as necessary to provide assurance that audit actions have been satisfactorily completed.
• Perform investigations, spot-checks and other special assignment as allocated.

Experience and Qualifications required:

• Bachelor degree of Engineering (Civil is preferred).
• Experience:
  
  7-10 years of overall experience in internal audit with exposure to large organization in real estate sector & Construction sector.
• Previous experience with Big 4 audit and consulting firms.
• Experience in real estate sector performing various functions audits (Development projects, Facility Management, Project management, QC, construction operations, leasing, sales) ·
• Working Experience with GRC technologies .
