As we enter our next phase of strategic growth, we are seeking a Global Membership & Partnership Manager to design, build, and scale a world-class global membership and chapter ecosystem. This is a high-impact growth role focused on strengthening our international presence, expanding strategic alliances, and elevating our membership proposition to become the most respected and sought-after network for Board Directors and governance leaders globally.
RolePurpose
To architect and scale a high-performing global membership and partnership ecosystem that strengthens GBI’s international footprint, deepens member engagement, and enhances long‑term recurring revenue growth.
This role will lead a dual growth strategy focused on:- Expanding international chapter partnerships
- Growing and enhancing the global membership base
- Developing strategic institutional alliances
- Supporting the launch and scale of our flagship global summit
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high‑caliber local chapter partners in priority markets
- Develop partnership frameworks, including commercial structures and governance standards
- Establish performance benchmarks and partner enablement programs
- Ensure consistency of brand, quality, and member experience across regions
- Build and manage a structured partnership pipeline
- Design and refine a tiered membership architecture aligned with board‑level career progression
- Enhance the value proposition to increase acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Develop corporate membership pathways and institutional relationships
- Create referral and ambassador initiatives
- Work closely with marketing to execute targeted growth campaigns
- Strengthen GBI’s presence in the UAE as a model market
- Build strategic corporate partnerships and high‑level engagement initiatives
- Support curated round tables and thought leadership forums
- Position the UAE chapter as a global showcase operation
- Support the strategic positioning and growth of GBI’s annual global summit
- Develop sponsorship frameworks and partner engagement strategies
- Collaborate with regional chapters to drive participation
- Ensure long‑term scalability and commercial sustainability of the event
We are seeking a commercially driven ecosystem builder with strong executive presence.
The ideal candidate will have:- 10–15+ years of experience in partnership development, membership organizations, associations, or international business expansion
- Proven experience building and scaling multi‑market partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen, including recurring revenue models and performance metrics
- Experience engaging C‑suite executives, Board Directors, and institutional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to design structured frameworks and execute with discipline
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a growth‑stage environment
- Experience in governance, professional education, executive networks, or related sectors is advantageous
