Non-Executive Director – Architecture Specialist; Operations & Finance Expertise

Hamilton Bradshaw is the private equity firm of James Caan CBE, widely recognised for his role on the BBC’s Dragons' Den.

For more than 20 years, we have invested directly in over 33 businesses, typically taking majority stakes and partnering with founders to scale service-led companies across professional services sectors including financial services, real estate, and digital media & marketing.

To date, we have completed 19 successful exits and consistently delivered above-market returns for both investors and founders.

As we continue to evolve our investment strategy, we are expanding our portfolio across new sectors and geographies — including the architecture and built-environment space.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Non-Executive Director from the architecture industry to help shape the next phase of growth within our architecture investment platform.

As a NED, you will:

• Provide strategic guidance and governance to our architecture practice.
• Support founders with operational and financial discipline, ensuring the business is managed against agreed plans and performance targets.
• Advise on workforce planning and productivity optimisation.
• Guide pricing strategy to ensure projects are secured at appropriate margins.
• Oversee the effective management of work-in-progress (WIP) and project pipeline balance.
• Champion delivery excellence to maintain high client satisfaction and retention.
• Leverage your network to enhance both deal flow and client acquisition opportunities.

We are looking for a senior, well-connected industry leader who brings:
