Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Senior Commercial Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a deep understanding of the architecture and engineering (A&E) industry, who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the firm’s financial health, commercial performance, and contract management, while ensuring alignment with project goals and business strategy.

• Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and project profitability.
• Lead contract review and commercial negotiation, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with business objectives.
• Administer and optimize the Deltek ERP system, ensuring accurate project tracking, reporting, and cost control.
• Monitor project financial performance across multiple teams, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and project directors to support strategic planning and business development.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to support sustainable growth.
• Provide commercial insight and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in finance roles, ideally within an architecture, engineering, or design consultancy environment.
• Proven experience with Deltek, ERP systems is a must.
• Strong understanding of contract management.
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
