As the Assistant Director RMCC MEA you will maximise revenue and profits for multiple hotels through the strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures and by conducting commercial reviews across a portfolio hotels to identify and target risks and opportunities. To drive the continued development and growth of customer service standards, revenue and profits of multiple hotels and to deliver Hilton’s mission relating to profit, people, customer and quality.

To partner and align with regional stakeholders (Commercial Directors, Operational VPs) to ensure an aligned strategic vision is agreed upon and targeted actions are implemented to deliver on performance.

What will I be doing?
  • Create and maintain a qualified and effective team of Cluster Revenue Managers, Revenue Executives, Senior Cluster Revenue Managers and Team Leads.
  • Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed our customer’s, owner’s and shareholder expectations. Work closely on cross functional projects to develop partnerships across the organisation and help input into and shape key initiatives.
  • Create and maintain key business partnerships with regional stakeholders e.g. Regional Directors of Revenue, Brand, to ensure company targets are met through aligning priorities.
  • Ensure directly or indirectly:
    • Sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting.
    • Professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures. Weekly review of reports and system audits to identify outliers to be addressed with team members through corrective coaching sessions.
    • Effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks.
    • Relevant hotel and above-hotel commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement optimal strategies and controls. Participate in regional CFMs alongside regional stakeholders to maintain alignment on key strategic priorities and represent the voice of RMCC.
    • High quality of revenue management processes and communications is applied consistently.
    • Ensure that performance knowledge of all hotels within the portfolio is strong and can be articulated through effective storytelling.
    • Be an integral part of the RMCC Leadership team involved in weekly decision making to help maintain the high standards of the three key pillars of Growth Mindset, Commercial Excellence and Customer Engagement.
    • Take the lead on projects, as defined during the annual Strategic Meeting, to further support the three key pillars. Lead project groups through a robust project plan to deliver on key milestones whilst checking, aligning and gaining approval from the centre lead throughout the duration of the project.

Profit

Ensure teams are utilising all Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures to capitalise and maximise revenue potential. Effectively prioritise data analysis to help achieve brand targets.

Quality

Ensure teams follow Best Practice and Standard Operating Procedures for RMCC resulting in all commercial decisions being supported by appropriate data analysis. Feed ideas and suggestions into key stakeholders and other RMCCs to strive for constant improvement of operating procedures. Ensure consistent quality across all teams. Consistently lead by example and demonstrate RMCC values.

Customer

Build and maintain effective working relationships and communication with:

  • Commercial teams (Commercial Directors, Regional Directors of Revenue)
  • Other disciplines i.e. Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to maintain their trust and confidence in the Revenue Management delivery. Reach out to brand and owners to further promote and expand RMCC.
