We are looking for a Head of Client Accounting for a Business Consulting company based in Dubai.

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – 28,000 – 30,000 AED/monthly

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is highly desirable.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience within accounting, tax, and compliance in the UAE.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 20–30 employees, including onshore and offshore resources
  • Demonstrated experience within an accounting, tax, or outsourced finance services environment, supporting multiple external clients simultaneously
  • Proven experience managing large, multi-location teams, including offshore operations.
  • Strong background in client-facing accounting or professional services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Solid understanding of UAE tax regulations, compliance, and tax computations.
  • Experience with audit management, internal controls, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client portfolios and operational deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • High level of client-facing professionalism and service orientation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Governance
  • Lead and manage end-to-end accounting, tax, and compliance operations across Dubai and offshore teams
  • Define and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Establish, monitor, and improve internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and expense tracking in line with approved financial frameworks
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all accounting records, reports, and filings
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and operational frameworks to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Review audit findings, resolve discrepancies, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop large onshore and offshore teams to deliver high performance
  • Set KPIs, objectives, and performance benchmarks aligned with departmental goals
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create development and training plans
  • Build a strong accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement culture
  • Mentor interns and new joiners, ensuring effective onboarding and role readiness
Client Relationship & Service Excellence
  • Act as senior point of contact for premium and complex client accounts
  • Ensure all client services meet regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain high service standards by enforcing quality and customer experience benchmarks
  • Address and resolve escalated client issues, complaints, and service delays
  • Oversee timely renewals, filings, and statutory deliverables across all client portfolios
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to define and execute client service strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with other department heads to deliver a seamless client experience
Resource & Stakeholder Management
  • Optimize resource allocation to meet client deadlines and service commitments
  • Coordinate closely with Sales to align client requirements, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to resolve client matters where required
  • Ensure team capability aligns with evolving regulations and compliance standards
  • Design and implement training programs to keep teams updated on regulatory changes
  • Continuously review and enhance processes to improve service quality and operational efficiency
  • Ensure accurate pricing inputs are provided to Sales for bespoke client requirements
  • Maintain clear internal communication and timely client-facing deliverables
About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Client Accounting a senior leadership role responsible for managing and scaling multi-country accounting, tax, and compliance operations across Dubai and offshore teams in Pakistan. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role leads large onshore and offshore teams, oversees premium client portfolios, and ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality client delivery. The role combines strategic oversight, people leadership, and hands-on operational control, acting as the central point of accountability for client accounting operations, internal controls, service delivery standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
