We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of the leading Charity Foundations in the UAE.

The Foundation operates tertiary training institutes such as a medical college, a pharmacy college and a nursing college, as well as a hospital (related to the medical college), a vocational training center and an Islamic School for Boys and Girls. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the business.

• Implement the approved operational strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the performance of all shared services, including finance, HR, IT, and administration.
• Optimize business processes and implement efficiency measures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Represent the company in external relationships and partnerships.

• Proven track record as a COO or in a similar senior leadership role within a non-profit organization.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing complex operations and budgets within a non-profit environment.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration (MBA preferred), non-profit management, or a related field.
