We are recruiting an experienced Head of Commercial, Sales & Membership on behalf of a premium, multi-site fitness business in the UAE. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving membership growth, commercial optimisation, corporate partnerships, and revenue performance across new and existing locations.
This opportunity suits a commercially sharp, results-driven leader with strong UAE fitness industry experience and a proven track record in membership-based business models.
Role OverviewThe Head of Commercial, Sales & Membership is a critical leadership position within the senior management team. You will own end-to-end commercial performance, including membership acquisition and retention, sales strategy, corporate partnerships, retail revenue, and commercial planning for new site launches.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Expansion- Build and execute a scalable commercial strategy to support business growth and expansion
- Lead commercial planning for new gym launches, including presales strategy, pricing, category mix, and local market positioning
- Forecast demand, membership ramp-up, and commercial viability for upcoming locations
- Identify new revenue streams and commercial opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Finance on budgets, forecasts, ARPM targets, and revenue KPIs
- Own membership acquisition, conversion, and retention across all branches
- Design and manage a performance-driven sales system with clear KPIs and reporting
- Strengthen retention programmes, member journey touchpoints, and lifetime value
- Ensure premium service standards are embedded throughout the sales and membership journey
- Develop and grow corporate partnerships and B2B revenue streams
- Lead negotiations for corporate memberships, sponsored seats, and partnership activations
- Identify and close strategic collaborations that enhance brand reach and commercial value
- Lead commercial optimisation of retail and ancillary revenue streams
- Drive category development, product innovation, pricing strategy, and brand collaborations
- Improve profitability and stock efficiency across retail and F&B outlets
- Own group-wide commercial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting
- Analyse sales trends, membership mix, and revenue per member
Deliver monthly commercial insights to senior leadership - Ensure transparent, accountable commercial performance across all sites
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial and sales team
- Lead with energy, accountability, and a strong performance culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Finance
- 5–10 years’ leadership experience in fitness, health club, hospitality, or membership-based businesses
- Proven success managing multi-site commercial operations
- Strong background in membership sales models
- Experience developing corporate partnerships and B2B solutions
- Solid financial acumen with P&L understanding
- Excellent communication skills and professional English proficiency
- UAE-based candidates only (UAE fitness / gym experience essential)

Up to AED 25,000 - Commission structure: TBC
