Where you belong

The Manager of SBN Services for MENA, Africa and Global Programs leads a team of consultants focused on helping customers unlock the full potential of the SAP Business Network. This role is about strategic advisory and execution - guiding customers on how to drive growth, optimize processes, and achieve measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities include shaping enablement strategies, advising on best practices, and delivering programs such as supplier onboarding, electronic catalog enablement, supplier integration, and adoption initiatives to expand trading partner connections and transaction volumes. The ultimate goal: help customers realize maximum value from the network.

This position blends strategic leadership, operational excellence, and customer‑centric innovation. The Manager ensures flawless delivery, empowers team development, and drives continuous improvement to create an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll build

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Management and Execution
  • Oversee project progress and provide guidance on customer management, delivery strategy, and execution.
  • Drive network adoption strategies and engagement with strategic customers.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful go‑lives and long‑term success.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and objectives, ensuring adherence to processes and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and resource planning through project management tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, and Account Executives to support client discussions.
  • Forecast global resource needs and allocate team capacity effectively.
  • Drive adoption on cloudified services like Preferred Success and RISE with S/4.
2. People Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of consultants to achieve excellence.
  • Develop career growth plans and provide ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous learning.
  • Manage hiring, promotions, and compensation decisions to maintain a high‑performing team.
  • Ensure quality standards and operational consistency across the team.
3. Customer Centricity & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering efficient, strategically sound projects.
  • Promote process compliance and share best practices across teams.
  • Lead root cause analyses for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
What you bring Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Information Technology, or related experience.
  • Proven experience as a manager or team leader with measurable success.
  • Minimum 7 years in procurement, project management, or related domain.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba solutions and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Exposure to working with customers in MENA and Africa (a plus).
  • Leadership & People Management – Ability to inspire, coach, and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking – Drive adoption strategies and align team goals business objectives; demonstrating a deep understanding of the MENA and Africa markets.
  • Customer Focus – Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project Management – Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving – Data‑driven decision‑making and root cause analysis.
  • Communication – Excellent verbal and written skills in English;
    German is a plus.
  • Adaptability & Innovation – Out‑of‑the‑box thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
