About the job Head of Inventory_ E Commerce

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head of Inventory to oversee and optimize all inventory management activities. Reporting directly to senior management, the Head of Inventory will lead the Inventory team to ensure smooth operations, accurate inventory tracking, and efficient supply chain processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust inventory control strategies to achieve optimal stock levels and reduce discrepancies.

Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including procurement planning, replenishment, and forecasting supply and demand.

Monitor inventory levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer demands.

Review and analyze supply chain and inventory management data to identify trends and implement corrective measures.

Lead negotiations and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality stock and cost-effectiveness.

Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, stock transfers, tagging, and stock processing.

Supervise and mentor the Inventory Controller and support their professional growth and development.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including purchase, pricing, and inventory performance reports.

Perform periodic audits, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliations to maintain accurate records and avoid discrepancies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to streamline inventory-related processes.

Establish and monitor KPIs for the inventory team, driving continuous improvement.

Job Requirements &

Skills:

Degree or certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Expertise in inventory management software such as Microsoft Business Central or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of inventory management practices, analysis, and forecasting techniques.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate direct reports.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
