Rituals is entering a new phase in the region. Starting next year, we will transition from a franchise model to a new Joint Venture. This strategic step strengthens our long-term commitment and enabling us to further build our omnichannel brand with a strong local presence.
As the Head of Retail you will lead the regional retail organization with full responsibility for financial performance, operational execution, and people management, driving planned growth in store count and sales while ensuring optimal workforce planning, productivity, and the development of high‑performing, engaged teams, and overseeing the effective implementation of the retail strategy by achieving sales targets, maintaining high customer service standards, and fostering strong employee engagement across the assigned region or cluster.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Retail leads and mentors Area Managers across the region while working in close partnership with Retail Operations to deliver operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with HR to build strong, engaged teams and implement people initiatives, with Training to embed the Feel Good Experience and commercial capabilities, and with Marketing to roll out impactful commercial campaigns.
You also work alongside Real Estate to evaluate new store locations and partner with the CHO Retail team to align on commercial cycles and retail initiatives, ensuring seamless execution across the business.
Your Market
- Setting ambitious, yet realistic performance targets as well as HR KPI’s
- Accelerating our local presence through new store openings and relocations
- Implementation of Rituals service and sales principles in close cooperation with the MD and CHO
- Lead and develop Area Managers
- Talent development and identification of key successors to drive future growth
- Fostering of a learning and high-performance culture that supports new skill-building and professional development
- Analyzing market data, competitor strategies and customer behavior; bringing new technologies and innovative approaches to the attention of CHO
- Stakeholder management with local and relevant CHO teams
- Implementation improvement programs and tools with a focus on professionalizing operations, optimizing store performance and driving people engagement
You have a strong strategic mindset, balancing long-term opportunities with day-to-day priorities while planning and aligning work to organizational goals, driving results under pressure, and applying strong business and market insights to make timely, high-quality decisions, and building and developing high-performing teams through clear, confident communication.
On top of this, you’ll bring:- On-hands experience in a high-pace and service-oriented retail business
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience inn managing large organization and teams
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject
