- Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations and regional best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, equipment, and activities.
- Lead the identification of workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments.
- Implement emergency response plans, fire safety drills, and occupational health programs.
- Oversee compliance with client-specific safety requirements and project HSE plans.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of all HSE incidents, inspections, and audits.
- Lead the HSE team and coordinate with project/site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Deliver Toolbox Talks, HSE induction, and awareness training for all site personnel.
- Ensure workers, subcontractors, and site supervisors are trained in safe work procedures and emergency response.
- Monitor daily site activities, ensuring strict compliance with HSE procedures.
- Prepare and submit HSE performance reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to management and clients.
- Track and report on HSE KPIs, including incident rates, audit scores, and corrective actions closure.
