This role is pivotal in driving productivity and service performance in alignment with business goals, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
The incumbent will supervise and guide warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and associates to achieve daily operational targets, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure timely order fulfilment with zero compromise on quality and product handling guidelines specific to Health & Beauty items. Ensure accurate and timely receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and dispatch of Health & Beauty products while meeting productivity and accuracy targets. Implement and monitor SOPs and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements for Health & Beauty SKUs (e.g. batch tracking, FEFO/FIFO, shelf‑life control, ambient & temperature‑sensitive storage). Lead daily warehouse operations including labour allocation, workflow planning, space optimisation, and equipment utilisation.
Collaborate with Inventory Control, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Logistics teams to ensure stock integrity, on‑time deliveries, and minimal damages or losses. Monitor and report on operational KPIs (productivity, OTIF, damages, shrinkage, labour cost/unit) and initiate corrective actions to improve performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service levels. Manage warehouse manpower planning, attendance, leave approvals, and shift rosters.
Support audits (internal, external, health and safety, ISO) and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities. Ensure timely resolution of escalations and operational issues with a customer‑centric mindset.
