What you'll do
  • You will oversee all operational activities related to People and Culture, ensuring the Department runs smoothly and effectively meets the People and Culture needs across the Residences. This role, under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director of People & Culture, is crucial for maintaining our commitment to a Guest Centric experience.
  • You will also ensure that all the business unit are in full compliance with the local labor laws and regulations.
  • You will oversee and implement the complete process and comprehensive administration of labor work permits, entry and residence visa applications, Emirates IDs, and will also be responsible for ensuring that all renewals are completed.
  • You will be responsible with ensuring that employees are certified in the mandatory government training as required by law.
  • You will also contribute to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture and values bringing the Company Philosophy “We Care” to life to ensure our employees receive nothing but the best experience.
  • You will represent the People & Culture Management in their absence and offer assistance across all aspects of the People & Culture function.

  • You will enhance employee engagement by coordinating social activities and internal events.
  • You will work with the Director of Operations Residences and Managers to ensure that the correct talent is being recruited at all times and to ensure that the right people are recruited and trained into the various roles they will fulfill.
  • You will provide advice and guidance to both managers and employees on Human Resources policies, legal requirements, staffing issues, and act as an arbitrator where necessary.
