Role Description
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation, inspection, and maintenance of Aqualivin’s ponds, pools, lagoons, and water features. The role combines technical system understanding, team leadership, client communication, and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand Aqualivin’s biological filtration systems, pumps, circulation systems, aeration, and aquatic ecosystems
- Diagnose issues and recommend corrective maintenance actions
- Ensure all water features operate safely and efficiently
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians and site visits
- Assign daily/weekly tasks and monitor performance
- Ensure maintenance activities follow company standards and safety requirements
- Prepare and send professional maintenance reports to clients
- Communicate system status, observations, and recommendations
- Support client meetings when technical input is required
- Maintain spare parts, consumables, and maintenance equipment inventory
- Update stock records regularly and forecast replenishment needs
- Coordinate with procurement when items require restocking
- Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure quality standards
- Implement checklists and procedures to improve consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and maintenance efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance operations (water systems, pools, or MEP preferred)
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Team leadership experience is highly preferred
- Valid UAE driving license and own car (required for site visits)
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
