Procurement & Supply Chain Manager – Automotive Aftermarket-Dubai

SummaryTo facilitate the vendor management and purchasing activities under Vendor Management unit of the Procurement and Contracts department in compliance with guidelines of overall Supply Management strategy.
Main Responsibilities Strategic Role- Knowledge & Awareness of HCT Strategy ensuring complete alignment between HCT Strategy and employees’ individual objectives.
- Familiarize with functional objectives relevant to scope of work.
- Hold discussions with direct supervisor to better understand the alignment between individual work and activities and functional goals and objectives.
- Follow and adhere to the practices and approaches developed to protect and restore the organization’s resources and business continuation in times of any major change/ crisis. Adjust and adapt best to the changing environment to be progressive and flexible.
- Facilitate the pre-qualification of Vendors and Suppliers for bidders lists with due diligence to develop accuracy in the vendor/supplier selection process.
- Support the development and maintenance of reliable relationships with vendors and suppliers throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop and enhance the Suppliers’ registration & pre‑qualification procedures and policies.
- Provide day to day support to End Users and Procurement & Contracts Department, in relation with qualified Contractor / Vendor / product groups etc.
- Manage and ensure performance evaluation of suppliers in HCT’s Commercial Directory and are registered and recorded.
- Evaluate supplier performance through review of reports, site surveys and internal stakeholder feedback to determine need for changes and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g. Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce.
- CIPS, Professional certification in purchasing, procurement or supply chain is preferred.
- Full English proficiency is required.
- Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, Oracle Fusion.
- Minimum of three years of work experience in Procurement or any relevant field.
