Legal English Trainer; Real Estate

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal English Trainer with a strong real estate focus to deliver specialized, practical training for real estate drafters and conveyancing staff. The training program is designed to enhance participants’ ability to use legal English in property transactions confidently, conveyancing documentation, and client correspondence.

The role requires a trainer who understands the language of real estate law, including contracts, conveyancing procedures, and regulatory documentation, and can translate complex legal concepts into clear, accurate, and professional written English. The primary goal is to improve drafting precision, reduce errors, and ensure clarity and compliance in all real estate‑related documents.

• Strengthen participants’ understanding of legal and real estate terminology used in property sales, purchases, leasing, and conveyancing transactions.
• Train staff to take interpret accurately, and document client instructions within a real estate and conveyancing framework.
• Develop strong drafting skills to prepare clear, compliant, and well-structured Terms & Conditions aligned with real estate regulations and best practices.
• Guide participants in drafting Form F Special Conditions, ensuring legal accuracy, clarity, and consistency with transaction requirements.
• Improve the ability to write clear, professional, and legally appropriate emails for communication with clients, brokers, developers, and regulatory authorities.
• Enhance grammar, sentence structure, and legal writing style, with a specific focus on eliminating ambiguity and minimizing drafting errors in real estate documents.
• Identify common language and drafting issues encountered in real estate contracts and conveyancing documents and provide practical correction techniques.
• Deliver office‑based, interactive, and hands‑on training sessions focused on real‑world application rather than theoretical instruction.
• Use actual real estate documents, templates, and transaction‑based scenarios to ensure immediate relevance and practical learning.
• Provide ongoing individual and group feedback to improve accuracy, consistency, and confidence in legal drafting and written communication.

• Proven experience teaching Legal English, preferably within a real estate, conveyancing, or property law environment.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law terminology, conveyancing documentation, contracts, and property transaction processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to model professional legal and real estate communication standards.
• Ability to simplify and clearly explain complex legal and property‑related concepts to non-native English speakers or mixed‑ability professional teams.
• Strong training, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience delivering training to small professional groups.
