Our client is an early‑stage AI-first startup building conversational and agentic AI solutions, with offshore engineering teams and scaling commercial activity from Dubai. This is a hands‑on, highly visible role in a fast‑moving business.
Role overviewYou’ll be the founder’s right hand in Dubai, attending client meetings, capturing and translating client needs into actionable requirements, shaping solutions with offshore tech teams, and supporting presales and delivery. You’ll combine project management discipline, business analysis clarity and commercial acumen to help win and deliver AI‑enabled solutions.
Key responsibilities- Attend client meetings with senior leadership; lead discovery and requirements capture.
- Translate client needs into user stories, specs, acceptance criteria and solution proposals.
- Drive presales: scope, estimate, create proposals and support demos/POCs.
- Coordinate and prioritise work with tech teams in India and the US; manage handovers and delivery expectations.
- Establish and enforce project management processes (Jira workflows, sprints, reporting).
- Own stakeholder communication and change management.
- Champion customer experience and feed insights into product/service improvements.
- Support ad‑hoc startup needs (business development, documentation, testing) as required.
- 5+ years in client‑facing PM / BA / presales / solutions roles, ideally in startups or enterprise tech services.
- Strong understanding of AI product concepts and/or experience with agentic/LLM platforms.
- Practical project management experience with Jira; PMP/Prince2 or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent requirements elicitation, writing and user‑story skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation and demo capabilities.
- Commercial awareness: scoping, estimating and proposal creation.
- Demonstrable CXM / customer success experience.
- Comfortable in a hands‑on, all‑round startup environment.
- Domain experience in one or more of: telecoms, financial services, enterprise software (desirable).
- Highly organised and delivery‑focused.
- Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence.
- Comfortable working with distributed, cross‑cultural teams.
- Based in Dubai with in‑person client presence required.
- Hybrid collaboration with offshore teams.
