Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Database Administrator (Apps DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our diverse database and application environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Oracle Applications and a wide range of database systems, including SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo

DB, Postgre

SQL, and Oracle APEX. Additional knowledge in technologies like Web Logic, Oracle RAC, ASM, Sharding, and Pgpool is highly desirable.

• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Applications environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, tuning, patching, and upgrades for databases, including:
  • Oracle Database (including RAC and ASM)
  • SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo
    
    DB, Postgre
    
    SQL (with Pgpool and Sharding)
• Manage and configure Oracle APEX applications.
• Administer and support Web Logic Server for application deployment and performance tuning.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions across platforms.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application lifecycle and deployment.
• Implement database security policies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database architectures, configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Applications DBA or similar role.

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
