As a Senior Account Executive, you will lead cloud growth and customer success across Retail, Logistics, Defence, and Environmental sectors. You will act as a trusted advisor, develop long term partnerships, and guide customers toward intelligent and sustainable enterprise transformation.
RolePurpose
To drive cloud revenue growth and ensure customer success by building customer centric strategies, influencing executive stakeholders, and positioning SAP cloud solutions to address industry specific and customer specific challenges.
Key Responsibilities Customer Strategy and Value Leadership- Build a deep understanding of customer business goals and industry priorities.
- Create and execute strategic account plans across Retail, Logistics, Defence, and Environment focused accounts.
- Align SAP's cloud portfolio to customer transformation journeys.
- Lead executive engagement and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Drive renewals, expansions, and net new cloud opportunities.
- Identify and develop demand aligned to customer outcomes and SAP capabilities.
- Manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
- Ensure seamless sales handover to delivery and partner teams.
- Guide customers through cloud adoption and value realisation.
- Explain the business impact of cloud transformation, sustainability, and operational resilience.
- Champion long term partnership success and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate SAP account teams, solution specialists, industry experts, and partners.
- Provide strategic direction and support cross functional execution.
- Represent SAP in industry and customer meetings.
- May include oversight of team members.
- Manages customers with high value, high complexity, or high risk.
- Provides authoritative interpretation of business scenarios and strategic guidance.
- Builds and manages critical relationships within customer and partner organisations.
- Ensures goals, milestones, and budgets are met.
- Operates as an expert across multiple domains and industries.
- Extensive experience in enterprise sales, cloud transformation, or solution led business development.
- Proven track record engaging C level stakeholders in Retail, Logistics, Defence, and Environmental industries.
- Strong understanding of industry drivers such as supply chain transformation, sustainability, resilience, and digital operations.
- Strong project management capabilities. PMI, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
