Job DescriptionIn the Manager Analytics and Insights role, you will lead the Enterprise Analytics insights team to deliver analysis and Business Intelligence products for a diverse range of business stakeholders. Work closely with internal customers to understand their challenges and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions that help business leaders identify opportunities and solve complex problems. You will design reliable, scalable solutions that empower business users to access the data they need, when they need it.
As part of the Analytics Center of Enablement, you will translate business needs into a future-proof semantic layer strategy and self-service framework, collaborating across the department and setting up the supporting function for broader Insights and Enablement teams.
In This Role, You Will- Lead and manage the implementation of a best-in-class analytics function framework for the Enterprise.
- Define and drive analytical objectives cross-functionally and within each business line.
- Lead the centralised functions that deliver timely, reliable and certified analysis in line with the balanced scorecard and CoE framework.
- Guide the creation of a program of work that enables a data-driven organisation.
- Pioneer the trial and adoption of new methodologies, technologies and capabilities such as exception reporting, predictive, forecasting, and customer analytics.
- Define and oversee the implementation of analytics quality standards, including data quality, content certification and visualisation standards.
- Promote standards through policies, guidelines and toolkits, ensuring adherence.
- Build an inclusive federated Insights & Analytics community across functional lines of business.
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in business, marketing, sales or related discipline.
- Experience in the airline or service industry as a functional head developing and implementing strategies.
- Knowledge in customer analysis, financial analysis or data mining is an advantage.
- Strong experience in dashboarding and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Qlik View, Tableau or similar).
- Expertise in data modelling and warehousing technologies (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake or equivalent).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or R for data analysis and transformation.
- Demonstrable evidence of strategic thinking and result-oriented capability.
- Ability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously in a diverse culture.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
