The Pre-Sales Lead serves as the key technical expert throughout the pre-sales process, driving business growth by designing and presenting customized technology solutions. This role bridges vendors, internal teams, channel partners, and end customers to ensure strong technical alignment, solution credibility, and successful deal closure.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness and customer engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with vendors, internal technical teams, and sales to understand product capabilities and customer requirements.
- Design and present tailored technology solutions aligned with customer environments and business objectives.
- Develop detailed technical proposals and support the sales team in customer presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and technical evaluations.
- Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales cycle.
- Work closely with technology vendors to understand product roadmaps and positioning.
- Identify emerging technologies and solutions aligned with market demand.
- Support go-to-market strategies and enable channel partners through technical training.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements within the region.
- Create technical presentations and enablement materials for internal teams and partners.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives with technical insights where required.
- Act as a subject matter expert across assigned vendor technologies.
