About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops & Application Managed Services Engineer to support mission-critical applications across enterprise container platforms and VM-based environments.
This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, data engineering platforms, and advanced Linux administration.
You will operate at the intersection of Dev Ops, platform engineering, and distributed data systems — ensuring performance, reliability, and operational excellence across our data ecosystem.
🔧 What You’ll Do- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications on Open Shift / Kubernetes
- Manage containerized workloads and ensure optimal resource utilization
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab or similar tools
- Operate and support enterprise data platforms, including:
- Support storage platforms such as Dell ECS or other S3-compliant storage
- Automate operational processes using Bash and Python
- Perform advanced Linux administration including networking, logging, performance tuning, and security hardening
- Troubleshoot complex issues across containers, VMs, distributed systems, and data pipelines
- Strengthen observability using:
- Dynatrace
- Grafana
- Champion Dev Ops best practices across CI/CD, automation, security, and configuration management
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Open Shift/Kubernetes and container operations
- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture
- Strong CI/CD implementation experience (Git Lab, Jenkins, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for automation
- Advanced Linux troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Experience with S3‑compliant object storage
- Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills
- 6–10+ years of experience in Dev Ops / Platform Engineering
- Experience in enterprise‑grade container and data environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with production support exposure
- Comfortable operating across hybrid infrastructure (VM + containers)
