Principal Medical Imaging Software Engineer

This organisation is a fast‑growing medical device innovator dedicated to transforming patient care through advanced imaging and therapeutic technologies. The team operates at the forefront of clinical innovation, developing solutions that address unmet needs in cardiovascular and related specialties.

• Serve as technical authority for full-stack imaging system architecture across web, device, cloud, data, and security layers
• Lead development of advanced 3D web imaging front‑ends (WebGL/WebGPU, volume rendering, MPR) integrated with scalable APIs
• Architect secure, high‑availability cloud infrastructures for large‑scale medical image ingestion, storage & visualization
• Define technology roadmaps, standards, and reference implementations for APIs, data models, observability, and deployment
• Partner with R&D, regulatory, cybersecurity, and operations to ensure clinical readiness, scalability, and compliance

• 10+ years' experience in software engineering with deep expertise in medical imaging, cloud systems, or related domains
• Proven ability to architect large‑scale 2D/3D/4D imaging solutions using technologies such as WebGL/WebGPU
• Strong background in cloud‑native infrastructure (containerized services, storage, databases, VPCs, messaging)
• Knowledge of medical device regulatory frameworks (FDA, ISO 13485) and cybersecurity standards (e.g., SOC2)
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership skills in fast‑paced environments
