We are looking for a Project Manager who can bring structure, pace, and accountability to cybersecurity engagements, owning execution from kickoff to closure.
About the Role
As a Project Manager (Cybersecurity), you will lead the planning and delivery of multiple security engagements in parallel. You will coordinate internal and customer stakeholders, manage scope, timelines, and risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and with high customer satisfaction.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, execution-driven, and comfortable managing technical work streams without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects: kickoff → planning → execution → tracking → reporting → closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, pre-sales, engineering, SOC/IR, and third-party vendors
- Manage scope control, including change requests, assumptions/dependencies, and SOW alignment
- Lead customer governance through status calls, steering updates, action tracking, and escalation management
- Ensure quality of delivery artifacts including reports, runbooks, handover documents, and acceptance sign-offs
- Track timelines, utilization, and delivery forecasts for leadership reporting
- Drive continuous improvement across templates, playbooks, and recurring engagement models
Requirements
Must-Have- 4–8+ years of project management experience (IT, cybersecurity, or technology services preferred)
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with external customers and internal technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills (comfortable engaging IT managers through senior leadership/executives)
- Strong planning and execution discipline (timelines, dependencies, change control, escalation handling)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-ready reporting
Experience in cybersecurity projects such as:
- SOC/MDR onboarding
- EDR deployments
- Incident response retainers
- Vulnerability management
- VAPT programs
- Firewall/network security
- Cloud security
- GRC initiatives
Familiarity with security concepts (MITRE ATT&CK, incident response lifecycle, vulnerability remediation workflows, SIEM/logging basics).
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, ITIL (any combination).
