We are looking to add a technically strong, customer‑facing Pre‑Sales Engineer who can lead discovery, shape solutions, run demos/POCs, and support proposals—while partnering closely with sales and delivery teams.
About the RoleAs a Pre‑Sales Engineer (Sales Engineer – Technical), you will be the technical owner during the pre‑sales cycle—supporting customer engagements from the first meeting through solution design, demos/POCs, proposal development, and handover to delivery.
You will build customer trust, reduce technical uncertainty, and help close opportunities by clearly connecting technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, pain points, constraints, and success criteria.
- Design solution approaches and service scopes aligned to customer requirements and delivery feasibility.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, product/service walkthroughs, and proof‑of‑concepts (POCs).
- Support sales with technical qualification, objection handling, and solution positioning.
- Develop technical content for proposals and RFP responses (architecture diagrams, solution narratives, assumptions/dependencies).
- Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and delivery to ensure clean handovers and scope integrity.
- Stay current on cybersecurity technologies, threat landscape trends, and best practices relevant to customer engagements.
- 2–4+ years of experience in a Pre‑Sales / Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer role within cybersecurity.
- Strong foundational knowledge across core domains: networking, endpoints, identity, cloud basics, and security logging/monitoring.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value (risk reduction, operational improvement, compliance alignment).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands‑on exposure to any of the following: SIEM / XDR / EDR, SOC operations, Vulnerability management, Incident response, IAM / PAM, Cloud security, Network security, Email security, DLP / DSPM.
- Experience preparing customer‑facing solution documentation and responding to RFPs.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNA, AZ‑900, AWS CCP, or vendor‑specific certifications.
