We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving our data projects and ensuring smooth integration and operation of our data platforms. If you have a profound understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies and solid experience with SQL, SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI, we want you to join us.

• Lead and manage data and analytics projects within the IT department.
• Design, implement, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, Power BI and Power Apps.
• Analyze data sets to derive insights and support decision‑making processes.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with business partners to understand their requirements and provide suitable data solutions.
• Develop relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, collecting input from stakeholders; identify and propose process and service improvements toward simplification and service level enhancement.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends and technologies in data and analytics.

• College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with at least 1 year in IT Management of Business Solutions/Application teams (including people management where relevant).
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in Microsoft and Azure cloud technologies: SQL, SSIS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake and Power Apps.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and modeling, data flow mapping, testing and validation techniques (must).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Understanding and hands‑on experience with ML and AI technologies is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new/emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand processes and liaise effectively with business partners.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Past exposure to Project Management and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
